Our Chef

In his native Puerto Rico, Chef Antonio Perez, learned the virtues of the Latin-Caribbean cuisine, there he discovered the craft of the professional chef which led him to follow classical and hotel training in the kitchens of prestigious restaurants of the Ritz-Carlton Hotels chain in several countries including USA, Italy (Bvlgari Hotels), Japan, Jamaica and Spain.

Particularly relevant, at the latter country, was his learning experience at the kitchen from Sergi Arola (2 Michelin stars) in the Hotel Arts Barcelona.

He is currently the Executive Chef of the Hotel Oro Verde Guayaquil and is the author-editor of the book "El Repertorio de la cocina".
